The Trejuvenation Project

Trejuvenation San Diego Project to reclaim urban wood logo

Trējuvenation

An amazing project that aims and succeeds at reclaiming urban wood.

Step 1: divert valuable urban wood from the chipper

Step 2: get it in the hands of artisans who can create beautiful products.

The whitest wood you can find comes from the silver striped Holly. By cutting this tree down in the winter time when sap levels are lowest and drying by summer time. Another wood used prominently for decorative purposes, Holly is used in inlays, piano keys, tool handles and small arts and crafts.
